A Word From Our Members
Indoor golf, women veteran activities and member recreation updates.
INDOOR GOLF I am looking to see what interest we can get from chapter Members, families and friends to set up a indoor golf simulator to play golf or just to practice maybe for someone that can already play. This would be a great opportunity for someone that has never golfed and would like to try it without the 100° heat of the summer. With the purchase of a SimCat, we as a chapter could also go to places like Top Golf for a outing. The SimCat is basically a indoor golf cart that allows a paraplegic to stand up and swing a golf club. The chapter would have to invest in purchasing the equipment so it would only be feasible if there were enough interest and participation. Please reach out to me or the chapter if you are interested in doing something like this. PVACF’s Women’s Veterans attended a Mosaic Workshop in June.
