Member Vehicle Grant

Eligible Central Florida Chapter members may apply for up to $10,000 toward an accessible primary vehicle purchase, approved repairs, or adaptation-related costs after applicable VA assistance has been exhausted.

Program overview

Accessible transportation can be the difference between having options and being stuck.

The chapter's accessible vehicle grant can support repairs to an existing accessible primary vehicle or the purchase of a new or used primary vehicle. Members purchasing a non-accessible vehicle may also apply when the vehicle will be adapted.

  • Applicants should exhaust applicable VA funding or assistance avenues first.
  • Chapter funds apply to eligible costs above available VA funds.
  • Vehicle photos must be submitted by the member or vendor/seller.
  • Lien waivers and proof of planned adaptation are required when applicable.
  • Members cannot receive more than $10,000 in total awards through this grant.
  • The chapter pays the approved vendor or seller directly.
